Job description

​Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop effective sales strategies and tactics tailored to the insurance industry.

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients within the B2B and B2C segments, including businesses, organizations, and individual consumers seeking insurance coverage.

  • Lead Generation: Utilize various channels, including networking events, cold calling, digital marketing, and referrals, to generate leads and opportunities for new business.

  • Consultative Selling: Understand the unique needs and requirements of prospective clients and recommend suitable insurance solutions to meet their specific objectives.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support, guidance, and assistance to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

  • Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and tracking opportunities through the sales process to closure.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to track performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and drive informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the insurance industry.

  • Strong understanding of insurance products, regulations, and market dynamics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., Insurance Broker License) are preferred.
