​Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for various projects, ensuring precise measurement and costing of all items.

• Work closely with architects, interior designers, and project managers to fully understand project requirements and deliver accurate BOQs.

• Conduct a thorough analysis of project drawings, specifications, and related documents to ensure accurate quantity take-offs.

• Source and negotiate with suppliers in the UAE to secure competitive pricing for materials while adhering to project budgets.

• Continuously monitor and update BOQs throughout the project lifecycle, reflecting any changes in design, materials, or costs.

• Provide expert advice on cost-saving opportunities, material selection, and construction methods to optimize project budgets.

• Ensure that all BOQ documents comply with local regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in preparing Bills of Quantities for fit-out, construction, and civil projects, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Extensive knowledge of the UAE construction and fit-out market, with a strong network of local suppliers.

• Solid understanding of interior design principles, materials, and finishes.

• Exceptional analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail.

• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, BOQ preparation software).

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
